Microprocessor Based. The MD3 features programmed functions for measuring distances, areas and counts such that it can be used without a computer for simple tasks. Coordinate and measurement data are displayed on a 4-line, backlit LCD display.
PC Connection. The MD3 communicates with a host computer via a standard RS232C serial connection. The companion MDPlot software handles all communications with the MD3, gives you on-screen plots, measurements and more. Specifications.
