The MD3 Microscope Digitizer offers the solution to direct recording of microscope stage position.

Linear optical encoders detect position with an accuracy and repeatability of 1 micron. Since the encoders attach directly to the stage, backlash and other mechanical inaccuracies of stage movement are virtually eliminated.

Microprocessor Based. The MD3 features programmed functions for measuring distances, areas and counts such that it can be used without a computer for simple tasks. Coordinate and measurement data are displayed on a 4-line, backlit LCD display.

PC Connection. The MD3 communicates with a host computer via a standard RS232C serial connection. The companion MDPlot and Image Tracer software handle all communications with the MD3, give you on-screen plots, measurements and more.
