| The MD3 Microscope Digitizer offers the solution to direct recording of microscope stage position.
Linear optical encoders detect position with an accuracy and repeatability of 1 micron. Since the encoders attach directly to the stage, backlash and other mechanical inaccuracies of stage movement are virtually eliminated. |

Microprocessor Based. The MD3 features programmed functions for measuring distances, areas and counts such that it can be used without a computer for simple tasks. Coordinate and measurement data are displayed on a 4-line, backlit LCD display.
PC Connection. The MD3 communicates with a host computer via a standard RS232C serial connection. The companion MDPlot and Image Tracer software handle all communications with the MD3, give you on-screen plots, measurements and more. Specifications.
